Invitation to apply for a BAGP research bursary of £1500 (March 2021)

Consultant and trainee pathologists who are BAGP members are invited to apply for a research bursary which may be used to fund or supplement an approved project.  Applications should be submitted by 22nd April 2021.

This modest award open to BAGP members will be based on the quality of the proposed project as judged by the council. This may be used to supplement any existing funds and will be given as an electronic payment to the successful applicant, to be spent at their discretion. This may include project costs or registration/travel to a meeting. The BAGP will request acknowledgement in any publication/presentation related to the project. We would like to be notified of progress and completion of the project and informed about any publication.

Topics

Applications may be submitted via email to info@thebagp.org on any topic relevant to gynaecological pathology.

Timelines

Submission of proposal by email by 22nd April 2021. All submissions will be acknowledged.  The successful applicant will be notified in June 2021.

Instructions

The application needs to be a brief outline, no more than 2 sides of A4 (12 point font, single spacing) which includes: Title, Background, Hypothesis, Methods, Expected Results, and up to 5 key references.
