The British Division covers the United Kingdom, Belgium, The Netherlands and the Republic of Ireland.

Our Aim is the advancement of pathology through: Improvement of methods of teaching pathology Coordination of pathology with allied sciences and techniques Promotion of research in pathology and pathologic techniques Publication of reviews and the results of work in pathology and related fields Convocation of meetings and congresses for exchange of scientific information and ideas

Support for training in pathology in the UK including: BDIAP Scholarships for undergraduate elective or vacation studies BDIAP Grants for undergraduate BSc studentships BDIAP Educational Fellowships for established members of the BDIAP Support for training in pathology outside the UK including: The BDIAP Bursary, for pathologists from less developed countries. The BDIAP Travel Bursary, to assist BDIAP members to attend meetings of other IAP divisions We can sometimes provide help with activities which support the aims of the BDAIP but do not fit with any one of these projects.
